When you think of Antwerp, the first thing that comes to mind is STAN. But if you think further, you realize what the city is also known for: the diamond trade. The Antwerp Diamond Exchange has been contributing a chapter to this story for 110 years in their monumental building in the station district. With all those years of knowledge, this place invites you to elaborate your knowledge even more by studying there. So if you are curious about how much your wedding ring will cost, you know where to be this exam period!

From 26/12 until 30/12/2022 the entrance at the Pelikaanstraat is closed. You can enter our building via the entrance at the Hoveniersstraat 51.
Time for a break
Near this location there are plenty of spots to grab a bite or drink during your coffee break or lunch. You could go for one of the big brands like Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and Le Pain Quotidien or visit one of the local bakeries, including Heimisch Gebak and Steinmetz. Prepared your own delicious lunch and looking for a quietspot to clear your head? Take a walk through Stadspark and become one with nature. For model students with plenty of break time we recommend visiting the ZOO Antwerp or the delicious Chocolate Nation museum.

Getting there
The Diamond Trade Exchange is located near the Central Station, making it one of our most accessible study spots. A train, bus and metrostop are just around the corner from the building. The study location is easily accessible by public transport, by bicycle, on foot or by sustainable subsystems. All information on routes and timetables can be found at www.slimnaarantwerpen.be. Would you rather come by bike? You can store your own bike in the parking area or park your Velo in a station nearby (we recommend station De Keyserlei or Centraal Station).
