Harmonie

Stramien

360-degree view of the park and city

Stramien is a supercool multidisciplinary design agency that deals with everything from urban design to architecture. Bringing various disciplines together under the theme of sustainability is something that is dear to them. To give you an idea: both AP Campus North and the brand-new KGD Campus South were designed by Stramien.

With an amazing office in the WATT tower, there is no need to look for inspiration. From the fifth floor, you have a 360-degree view. With a total of twelve floors, the WATT tower has left an indelible mark on the Antwerp skyline. It is therefore not surprising that this creative hotspot also houses organisations such as Fosbury & sons and production company Panenka.

Time for a break

Lunch is made on site by a lady chef. You can bring your own food, if you put something in the pot.

Recovered from the stunning view and back with both feet on the ground? Take a walk through the small but beautiful Albertpark. In the area there is a café Kornèl where you can combine coffee with a piece of cake or a hearty snack. BBQ for lunch? They have that around the corner in the WATT tower at Black Smoke. Real carnivores can go completely crazy here, in a warm and rustic interior. Do you like healthy, homemade food, are you a vegetarian or do you have certain food allergies? 22b is the place to be! Here everything is freshly prepared, right up to the biscuit with the coffee.

Need more inspiration? At your place of study, you will find the Antwerp Student Guide, which has all the must-know addresses in the area.

Getting there

Do you come by bike? Then park your own two-wheeler in a bike shed or use the Velo station further down the street (046 – De Merode).

Do you prefer public transport? Bus 30, tram 2, 6, and 7 all stop in the area. You’ll find your ideal route with the De Lijn route planner.
