More than 70 years ago SD Worx first fired up its operations. While the cradle of the HR services company stands in Antwerp’s Boerentoren, SD Worx moved to its Brouwersvliet address a few years later. SD Worx are only too happy to open up their doors to the students. The doors of the eighth floor of the Brouwersvliet building, in fact. Both the floor number and the name of the location are giveaways: the view here is absolutely astounding, taking in the busy harbour activities on the Scheldt, the majestic MAS and the picturesque marina.

With your studying place a mere stone’s throw away from the docks and “Het Eilandje”, you can literally go in any direction for some R&R. The Felixpakhuis is the go-to place for a snack or a drink. You can eat your own sandwiches at the Napoleondok and score a great cup of coffee at Broer Bretel or one of the many other addresses on Het Eilandje. Want a break and a beer? Bar du Port! The MAS and its surrounding area is perfect for getting some fresh air with a view on the Antwerp skyline and the old harbour docks.
Be sure to check our Student Guide Antwerp and look for our Walkabouts around your studying place, for all those need-to-know spots.
Get rid of your Velo Bike in the Velo Stations on the Falconplein or near the Loodswezen (Pilot Station). ‘Blue Bikes’ rental bikes are available from train stations Antwerpen Centraal and Antwerpen Berchem.
Would you rather take the bus? De Lijn’s handy route planner will help you out. Buses 17, 30, 34 and 291 and tram 7 will both drop you off in the neighbourhood.
