Het Stadsmagazijn

A COSY STUDY SESSION

Finally: a study location at the infamous Sailor’s Quarter! This STUDY360 location is a vibrant cultural meeting place with something for everyone. Activities, courses and performances are organized throughout the entire year, but it is also possible to organize something yourself; you can rent a room at the Stadsmagazijn from only 6 euros! You can also visit various shows and exhibitions and there is an exchange library with a ‘living room’ where you can daydream while enjoying an exciting book.

On top of all the activities, the beautiful historic attic will be specially equipped to welcome all students for some hardcore study sessions during the exam period.

Time for a break

The Stadsmagazijn café is the perfect place to enjoy a good cup of coffee, fresh bio soup or a delicious croque monsieur. Running out of money at the end of the month? No problem: bringing your own lunch is allowed!

Tip: combine your cup of coffee with a good book from the exchange library. Rather get some healthy fresh air? Take a walk around the MAS and get your daily vitamins at juice bar Maona. Pay a visit at KoffieKlap, Cuperus or Tartine for sandwiches and other delicacies. At the living room-coffeeshop Normo you may bring your own packed lunch (and even use their microwave!) and you can also find the best coffees here. On Thursday- and Friday evening you can get a delicious and freshly cooked vegetarian meal at Het Bos; from Korean food to pizza, the menu changes weekly. Treat yourself with an ice cold beer at Papa Jos of Cfou at the end of your long day of studying.

Do you need more inspiration? You can find the Antwerp Student Guide at the study location, with all of the must-known addresses in the neighbourhood.
