Architectural tour de force on the border of city and port

Sometimes you want to feel exclusive while you are studying. This year STUDY360 responds perfectly to these very needs with fifteen study spaces in the new main office of Port of Antwerp-Bruges. To say that the building, designed by the world famous British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, appeals to the imagination is an understatement. It is one of the newest, but also one of the most iconic, buildings on the Antwerp skyline. In meeting rooms 3.03 & 3.05, every weekday between 8 am and 6 pm, fifteen seats are set aside for students who want to study.

Wheelchair accessibility

The study area is located on the third floor. There is a wide entrance and a lift. Both on the ground floor and on the third floor there are toilets accessible for wheelchair users.

Time for a break

Don’t feel like wasting a lot of time looking for somewhere to lunch? Then go to the sixth floor, and pull up a chair in the canteen! Great food with a port view? Yes please!

If you fancy a short walk along the Kattendijk Dock you can always pop into Bar Paniekfor some liquid refreshment, or lunch in ‘Cafe Boulangerie La Campine’ which serves up delicious organic bread or a big plate of comfort food straight out of your ‘grandmother’s kitchen’. A ten-minute walk in the other direction and you arrive at Kinepolis, where you can relax for a couple of hours in front of a film or drop by one of the building’s eateries.

Need more inspiration? At your place of study, you will find the Antwerp Student Guide with all the must-know addresses in the area.

Getting there

You can leave your Velo in front of the Port House, next to the entrance to the underground car park. Tramline 24 stops right across the Port House. Cars can be parked at paking site Straatsburg, next to the Pomphuis. Be sure to check the De Lijn routeplanner for the quickest route!
